If you enjoy spooky evenings in the country, you may find none better than Haycock Township in Upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This is the area that borders Lake Nockamixon, not far from the Delaware River. This Historic region lays in the heart of the Revolutionary War and just moments from the spot where George Washington crossed the Delaware River en route to the infamous battle of Trenton, NJ. The aerial phenomena seen  most evenings in the skies above can bring chills and discomfort to the toughest mindset. If you think I exaggerate take a quiet drive thru Haycock and meander your way to the boat docks at Lake Nockamixon and spend an hour of stargazing on any clear evening. Surely you will feel safe at this heavily PA State Police patrolled State Park. Or will you?

Keep in mind I do not suggest you go alone. But I do suggest that your departing route must include a lazy, relaxing ride thru the heart of Haycock Township. Make sure you have plenty of gas in your vehicle, and just maybe your ride home may feel more like an escape. A word of advice: don't pick up any hitchhikers that appear unnaturally pale.
