If you want to go Super Gas racing the hard way.......you take an old street driven Corvette, slip a full tube frame under/inside the stock vehicle. Remove all unnecessary factory components and replace the stock 350 with 1200 HP behemoth bow-tie and prepare to do battle with all the off-the-shelf, built to race only, one-piece fiberglass fakes (w/ no working doors or roofs). Handing them 800 pounds of advantage plus a room with a view. All ya gotta do is write a check.
We prefer the path not charted. Its about the journey. A destination (trophy) without a path just doesn't seem right to me. We loved corvettes, that is why we race a corvette. One we built. A REAL CORVETTE, not some 50K, turn-key fake.
