NEW Lower Price!...Made from entirely discarded items that were headed for disposal. We present the "Eye of the Storm" sculpture in glass, metal, light, mounted on a solid acrylic base.   The dense-swirled glass was handmade in Tuscany and damaged during shipping. The DC-3 plane was purchased for a wonderful person that passed on before he was able to receive it. The plane's stand (stainless-steel exhaust pipe) and yellow-lenses were both unused defunct inventory from a commercial trucking outfit. The base is a solid acrylic block that once was seen on a Hollywood TV studio set some 10+ years ago for a popular and famous awards ceremony. The light comes from a household re-used/refurbished electrical light fixture. The artist smashed, cut, broke, adhered, retrofitted, combined and painted. This is what resulted. It is weighty and substantial. Signed and dated by the artist. No copies made.

This piece is one-of-a-kind with no reproductions.
